FAIRHEAD Photography Club was delighted to welcome both existing members and new members to their Open Night held on Tuesday September 11.

Club Chairperson, Alan Thompson welcomed everyone and gave an introductory talk based on the Programme in place for the incoming season.

Existing members had brought along some samples of their work and this was put on display for everyone to see. Everyone had a look at the images on view as they got to know each other over a cup of tea.

Now entering its 12th year, the club has been in operation since 2006. Club member, Mary Hill, commented that while a number of the members have been there since the beginning, they are always delighted to welcome new faces each September. She went on to say that it is a small, friendly club and everyone is very welcome – no matter what their level of experience.

The club meets on a Tuesday night once a fortnight at 7.30pm in Portnagree House, Bayview Road, Ballycastle. The next club meeting is on Tuesday September 25 and new members are most welcome.
