FOLLOWING two standing ovations at last year's show, Ireland's leading country recording star Trudi Lalor returns by overwhelming demand to top the bill at this year's Christmas Country Showtime concert with the stars on Saturday, 30 December in the Market Place Theatre Armagh.
Trudi has picked up several awards during the past 12 months and now has her own daily show featuring country and gospel music on Tipperary FM Radio.
In Armagh she will be joined by the amazing country voice of Joe Moore, always a big favourite at the Market Theatre, plus Ireland's most talented musician, singer and entertainer Stephen Smyth who hails from Portaferry and has enjoyed many years with different bands through the showband era.
Returning to Armagh after his successful appearance recently on the Phil Mack International Country Show plus back in July when he appeared on the smash hit show 'Life Story of the Dubliners' which was staged for the very first time in Ireland at the Armagh City Hotel, lead singer Ged Graham has some great memories of his visits tot he City of Armagh.
However, for Ged it's his first time performing at the Market Theatre and he promises to include 'Back Home to my Donegal' plus Dublin 'In the Rare Oul Times' and his wide selection of country songs including requests from the audience.
Travelling from Co Offaly the glamorous country star Olivia Douglas who has picked up two major Country Awards Best Newcomer 2017 at the popular TV Hot-Country Awards plus the Sunday World Country Awards held in Mullingar. She also plays the accordion during her stage performance.
It's no secret the youngest artist on stage will once again receive the loudest applause of the night and that's 14-year-old Facebook sensation Owen Mac.
Many country fans will make their way to the Market Theatre to see Owen Mac in action and again he is certain to receive another standing ovation like he did last year. Already this year he has had several TV appearances to his credit and he continues to take the country music scene by storm.
Completing this star-studded line-up will be the brilliant Country Harmony who are the backing band for this last country show of 2017 in the Market Theatre. Show organiser Sean Wallace is your host and compère for the evening. Show starts at the earlier time of 7.30pm.
