THE  Buttery restaurant in Markethill is gearing up for another busy Christmas period.

The popular restaurant is preparing to celebrate its second Christmas after re-opening its doors last year following a major refurbishment.

And the message for those wanting to plan ahead for their Christmas party or family meal is to book ahead. There are still a number of dates available for the Christmas period but with the restaurant enjoying a busy period it is recommended you book early to avoid disappointment.

The Buttery is open from Wednesday to Sunday with Sunday lunch running from 12 noon until 3pm. Saturday morning breakfasts are proving popular and are available from 10am until 12 noon. An Early Bird menu is available on Wednesday and Thursday from 5pm until 7pm. A steak deal is available on Friday nights (two steaks, two sides and two sauces for £29.95 per couple)

The restaurant had been incredibly popular down through the years and it’s re-opening certainly created a buzz in the the town. Whether it was a special occasion or family party it seems most people in Markethill have a story to tell about the Buttery.

With a popular bar at the front of the premises the Buttery is the perfect location for a great Christmas night out.
