AGHANLOO United booked their place into the semi-final with a ruthless performance against a Bushmills team who had no answers to, what one could only describe, as a lesson in football.
It was the Joe McCreadie show for the first 19 minutes of the match as the talented striker was too hot to handle, scoring a hat-trick, therefore ensuring Aghanloo were to have a comfortable evening. Bushmills will be annoyed as a couple of silly mistakes more or less cost them the match.
Aghanloo were able to relax and play some delightful football and with McCreadie and Robbie Hulme up front, Bushmills were in for a long evening.
Jimmy Crockett made an appearance for Aghanloo in the middle of the park with Lowry beside him and with Paul Owens and Lee Harkin, this made for a formidable midfield. The surprising element for the large crowd in attendance was there was to be no more goals in the first half. The Limavady back four were very comfortable and with Aaron Canning on show, it just showed how difficult it was going to be for Bushmills.
