Morrell comes of age! thumbnailThree into one just won’t go! Adam Best finds himself as the meat in the sandwich in the all action 2 Ltrs race at Aghadowey last weekend.

MARC Morrell was the toast of Aghadowey Oval on Saturday night when he was crowned 2017 Stock Rods Champion of the World after a superb drive, and in doing so, kept the coveted title in Northern Ireland.
After a day of intense racing in differing conditions, Marc came out on top in a thrilling final which had the huge crowd on their toes right to the very end. There was a full day of high octane action on track, kindly sponsored by PC Paints & Components of Ballymoney, and the other big winner was Portadown's Davy Wright who landed the ProStocks European Championship crown after another excellent race.
The other feature race winners were Portadown's Stuart Cochrane in the 2.0 Hot Rods Irish Masters and Drew McKeown in the Junior Productions King of Aghadowey, whilst Norman Purdy took victory in the Thunder Rods.
