A beautiful May Day Bank Holiday Monday greeted race goers to the Aghadowey Oval, last week and the on-track action didn't disappoint either as the five formula programme provided some excellent racing for the short oval racing fans, the climax of which was to be an All-Star Caravan Destruction Derby.
Also on the cards was a brace of King of Aghadowey titles which saw a win for Dan Shannon in the ProStocks and a win for Scottish visitor Charlie Hardie in the Ninja Karts.
Thomas Dilly was the victor in the latest round of the Classic Hot Rods NI Series with the other feature race wins falling to Lee Davison (Superstox) and Limavady driver Graham Young who held up local honours by winning the Thunder Rods final. An outstanding Caravan Derby fell to Coagh's Dessie Dallas.
