Do this for Bryan! thumbnailLimavady United defender Bryan McClelland who broke his leg in February.

A RALLYING cry from manager Paul Owens to "do this for Bryan" shows confidence that his on-form team can book their place in the Intermediate Cup final this week for their injured team-mate. Limavady United face a tough test against Portadown team Hanover, in Moyola, on Wednesday (April 5) in the semi-final of the cup, but Owens does not fear of any team at the minute.
The Roesiders last lifted the cup over twenty years ago in 1996, and a win on Wednesday night would secure a trip to Windsor Park on the May bank holiday (May 1).
Owens said: "The opportunity to play at the new Windsor Park is the carrot in front of us. We certainly want to be in that showpiece final on May day.
“We have a young squad and a lot of confidence at the minute. We have re-written a lot of records in the past few years, and are in great form with seven wins on the bounce before a recent league defeat.
“They should be more worried about us, than we are of them."
The current NIFL Premier Intermediate League leaders won the treble last year and already have one piece of silverware in the cabinet so far this season, winning the Craig Memorial Cup on Boxing Day.
