EGLINTON's Jason Smyth completed a World Para-athletics European Championship sprint double as he won the T13 100m final in a championship record of 10.66 seconds in Berlin, on Thursday (August 23).
Smyth's time left him 0.33 seconds ahead of Poland's Mateusz Michalski who also won silver in Tuesday's 200m.
Smyth has also beat his own World Para-athletics European Championships record to comfortably secure T13 200m gold last Tuesday (August 21).
The 31 year-old County Londonderry man clocked 21.44 as he remained unbeaten in a Paralympic career which began in 2005.
