CLAUDY, is saddened at the sudden death of popular schoolgirl and
member of John Mitchel's GAC, Kerrie Canning at age of 18.
A year 14 pupil at St Marys College, Londonderry, Kerrie
moved to the college complete her A level's from St Brigids and St Patrick's in
Claudy.
Kerrie had planned to take up a place at Queens University next year
to study nursing and to follow in her elder sisters footsteps.
A spokesperson from St Marys College paid trubute to Kerrie: "It is with profound
sadness that we learned of the sudden passing of Kerrie Canning, our
esteemed year 14 pupil.
