WSBK heading to Northern Ireland in 2019 thumbnailThe World Superbike Championship is heading to Northern Ireland in 2019 as part of a three-year deal. Jonathan Rea (pictured) has welcomed the news.

WORLD Superbike boss Daniel Carrera has penned a deal that will bring the competition to Northern Ireland for the first time in the sport's history.
Northern Ireland will join a list of host nations that currently includes Australia, Thailand, Spain, Holland, Italy, England, Czech Republic and Qatar.
The Irish round of the WSBK will be staged at the 34m Lake Torrent Circuit, which is currently under construction in Coalisland in County Tyrone.
Many of the Championship's top riders - including triple champion Jonathan Rea - have welcomed the news which is worth millions to the economy.
