Limavady suffer defeat to Grosvenor thumbnailLimavady 1st XV player Clive Scott carrying the ball against Grosvenor on Saturday.

Limavady............5 Grosvenor............38

GROSVENOR were the visitors to the John Hunter Memorial Grounds at the weekend.
Grosvenor are the league leaders and unbeaten this year to date so Limavady knew their resolve would be severely tested.
The game started very well for Limavady when Sam Mackey crashed over for the opening try.
However this was as good as it got for the first half as Grosvenor responded with six tries of their own, to leave the half time score: 5-38
Hard words were spoken at half time to ensure a severe drubbing was not to be on the cards.
The boys, to their credit, reacted and put in a much improved performance in the second half, so much so that no further points were added to the scoreline and in fact Limavady came closest to scoring on a couple of occasions.
