Stewart vs Stewart thumbnailThe Ninja Karts ‘Class of 2017’, the young chargers who took part in the Irish Championship race at Aghadowey on Saturday night.

ANYONE getting up early on Sunday morning to watch Lewis Hamilton winning the Singapore F1 Grand Prix could been forgiven for falling asleep as the Mercedes driver dominated the race from lights to flag in almost routine fashion.
The same however, cannot be said for those lucky enough to witness the Ninja Kart Irish Championship race at Aghadowey on Saturday, as they witnessed an amazing duel of flat out, no holds barred wheel to wheel racing.
Yes Daniel Stewart started on pole position, as did Hamilton, and yes he led from start to finish to take a magnificent victory, just like Hamilton, but there the similarities end as Daniel was pushed all the way by Ballykelly based driver Stewart Hanna.
Daniel had rightly earned the pole position by topping the points having been on brilliant form of late. By contrast, Hanna, the defending champion, had struggled as he was required to start at the back of each race but nonetheless, had qualified in second on the grid.
