Inspirational Millie goes for the chop thumbnailMillie Brown from Ballykelly who is having her hair cut for the Little Princess Trust.

RAISING money for charity can be a hair raising event and that's certainly true for one young Ballykelly girl who will get her long locks cut short for charity to "help the people who helped her daddy," this weekend. Eight year old Millie Brown has been waiting patiently for months to get her hair cut and donate it to charity to help her dad who is currently going through chemotherapy.
Millie is hoping to raise money through the sponsored trim which will go to the Friends of the Cancer Centre at Belfast City Hospital, while the hair will go to the Little Princess Trust.
The Little Princess Trust provides real hair wigs free of charge to children across the UK and Ireland that have sadly lost their own hair due to cancer treatment and other illnesses.
A special fund raising night will be held in The Well Bar, Ballykelly on Saturday September 23, which will include Millie's big chop and Millie says she is excited and already feels like a celebrity in the area.
