IT was a bumper exam year for St Patrick's and St Brigid's College Claudy as students have broken all school records with an exceptional set of GCSE results.
The school has claimed the title, 'Best non-Grammar in the North West' for several of the past five years with the percentage of pupils attaining five or more GCSE passes, including Mathematics and English.
It is significantly above the NI average for similar schools, leaving the school well-placed to claim the title again this year.
Principal, Mrs Deirdre O'Kane is "absolutely delighted with this year's results, which surpass all expectations."
The significant rise in the number of pupils achieving the higher grades in mathematics and English has certainly contributed to the college's success this year.
