A VETERAN of 40 marathons and 15 Ironman challenges across the globe, life-loving Limavady solicitor Peter Jack says there is no place like his beloved North Coast.
Son of Arthur and Essie, and husband to Sharon and father to three amazing kids; Hannah, Patrick and Mark, the young at heart triathlete has been trekking the world for charity while fulfilling his own ambitions.
We got Peter to sit still for a while and asked him about his life...
1. Who or what inspires you? - Young people who travel and see other cultures, countries and lifestyles and who learn tolerance and respect as a result.
People who challenge themselves to do something that they themselves thought was impossible this can be athletes or people going back into education.
I'm never inspired by anyone who has a talent, everyone has talent is what you do with it that counts.
Talent is either your God given or you have picked your parents very well. My good friends Anne Paul and Michael McCarron from the Triangle Triathlon Club had talent but they made the most of most of it and they became Irish Champions as a result.
I am also inspired by people like Elaine Bannon from Cork who is in charge of the Rombo Project in a village in Kenya supported by Limavady Rotary Club, Elaine left a comfortable life in Ireland 13 years ago and now dedicates herself to the health and education of wellbeing of an entire village.
