THE small village of Feeny can now boast its own gold medal winning athlete as she takes it all in her stride by making her family and friends very proud.
Adventurous Dearbhaile Brady took home an amazing seven medals at the Dwarf Sports Association UK (DSA UK) games in Birmingham over the May bank holiday weekend.
On Friday April 28 the sports mad nine year-old started her very first journey to the DSA National Games and she vows it won't be her last.
The oldest child of Bridgid and John Brady, and sister to Matthew and Sarah, Dearbhaile was diagnosed at birth with hypochondroplasia, her dad John has the same condition.
